CV - Check Valve

Product Manufacturer: Generant
Datasheet ID: CV

Field of application

chevron-down

Intended to limit or prevent reverse flow in gas and liquid systems.

Suitable for inert gases, oxygen, oxidizer gases > 21 %, hydrogen and many liquid and gas applications subject to proper system design and media compatibility.

Nominal cracking pressures: 0.01, 0.07, 0.21 and 0.55 bar. Maximum operating pressure: up to 310 bar.

Allowable operating temperature: -196 °C to +232 °C, depending on seal material.

Description

chevron-down

High-flow, low pressure drop check valve with fully guided poppet and free-floating O-ring design for many liquid and gas applications.

Function: Check valve for reverse-flow prevention; metal-to-metal positive stops protect the O-ring and spring from over-stress.

Media: Suitable for inert gases, oxygen, oxidizer gases > 21 %, hydrogen and many liquid and gas applications subject to proper system design and media compatibility.

Testing / setting: 100 % factory tested for leakage in the backflow direction. Nominal cracking pressures: 0.01, 0.07, 0.21 and 0.55 bar.

Oxygen service: Optionally cleaned and packaged for oxygen service in accordance with CGA G-4.1.

Seals: Viton, Buna-N, Neoprene, EPDM, Fluorosilicone, Silicone or PTFE, depending on configuration and temperature range.

Allowable operating temperature: -196 °C to +232 °C, depending on seal material.

Connections: 1/8" to 1" NPT; other connection types depending on configuration.

Flow direction: Install with the arrow pointing in the free-flow direction.

Available special versions / options:

· oxygen cleaning

· alternative seal materials

· alternative connection configurations on request
