VRVH - Vent Relief Valve (Brass/Stainless Steel)

Intended for venting and pressure relief of systems requiring higher set pressures against excessive pressure.

Suitable for inert gases, oxygen, oxidizer gases > 21% and hydrogen with appropriate seal and material selection.

Set pressure range: 10.3 to 42 bar.

Permissible operating temperature: -196 °C to +177 °C, depending on seal material.

Product overview: High-pressure vent relief valve in brass, 1/8" to 1/4" NPT, set pressure range 10.3 to 42 bar, according to Category I, Module A (standard).

Function: Compact direct-acting pressure relief valve for higher differential pressures. The encapsulated O-ring seal helps prevent extrusion at higher differential pressures.

Media: Suitable for inert gases, oxygen, oxidizer gases > 21% and hydrogen with appropriate seal and material selection. Special consideration is required for hydrogen embrittlement in H2S service.

Factory setting / testing: Factory preset and 100% tested; set pressure secured against inadvertent adjustment. Testing includes leakage, crack pressure, full flow and reseat performance.

Oxygen service: Optionally cleaned and packaged for oxygen service in accordance with CGA G-4.1.

Seals: Viton, Buna-N, neoprene, EPDM, silicone or PTFE depending on media, pressure and temperature. Generant notes that PTFE seals may not reseal bubble tight.

Permissible operating temperature: -196 °C to +177 °C, depending on seal material.

Inlet: 1/8" or 1/4" NPT male thread.

Outlet: Vent to atmosphere or VRVHI inline version, depending on configuration.

Available special versions / options: Oxygen cleaning; alternative seals; other thread configurations on request.
