3000 - Screwed Bonnet Needle Valve

Intended as a manual needle valve for metering, throttling and shut-off of liquids and gases in instrumentation, measurement and process lines.

Suitable for liquids and gases with appropriate design, material selection and media compatibility.

Operating pressure: brass up to 207 bar, stainless steel up to 345 bar at 38 °C.

Allowable operating temperature: -196 °C to +204 °C with metal-to-metal stem, -54 °C to +93 °C with Kel-F stem tip.

Product overview: Screwed bonnet needle valve in brass, 303 stainless steel or 316 stainless steel, available in globe and block configurations with 1/8" to 1/2" NPT connections.

Function: Manual metering, throttling and shut-off of liquids and gases. Flow is adjusted by the knob; counterclockwise rotation increases flow, clockwise rotation closes the valve.

Media: Suitable for liquids and gases with appropriate material and seal compatibility.

Testing / setting: 100% factory tested. External leakage: zero. Maximum allowable seat leakage: 0.1 cc/min at 207 bar with nitrogen.

Oxygen service: Optionally cleaned and packaged for oxygen service in accordance with CGA G-4.1.

Seals / packing: Adjustable, wear-compensating PTFE stem packing. Available with metal-to-metal stem or Kel-F stem tip.

Allowable operating temperature: Metal-to-metal stem: -196 °C to +204 °C. Kel-F stem tip: -54 °C to +93 °C.

Connections: 1/8" to 1/2" NPT, depending on configuration with female/female, male/male or male/female connections.

Flow data: Globe configuration with 0.187" orifice: Cv 0.40. Block configuration with 0.312" orifice: Cv 0.90.
