CR - Cryogenic Pressure Regulator (Pressure Build)

Intended as a cryogenic pressure-build regulator for fast pressure building and stable pressure maintenance in cryogenic vessels and pressure-build circuits.

Suitable for cryogenic liquid gas applications, subject to proper design and media compatibility. Oxygen service is available as an optional cleaned configuration.

Maximum inlet pressure: 42 bar. Outlet pressure range: 0 to 16 bar.

Permissible operating temperature: -196 °C to +107 °C.

Cryogenic / Pressure Build Regulator (Pressure Build), brass, 3/8" and 1/2" NPT/BSPT, maximum inlet pressure 42 bar.

Function: Pressure-build regulator for cryogenic vessels with high flow performance in pressure-build operation. The pre-formed, multi-stacked phosphor bronze diaphragm increases sensitivity to outlet pressure changes and supports fast pressure recovery during high demand.

Media: Suitable for cryogenic liquid gas applications, subject to proper design and media compatibility.

Testing / setting: 100 % factory tested and factory preset. Approximate setpoint change per full turn is 0.6, 1.7 or 3.8 bar/turn depending on the spring range.

Oxygen service: Optionally cleaned and packaged for oxygen service in accordance with CGA G-4.1.

Seals / materials: Forged brass body and brass components; phosphor bronze diaphragms; PTFE valve, diaphragm and bottom plug seals; PCTFE valve stem bearing; 304 SS inlet strainer in standard configuration, Monel inlet strainer for oxygen service configuration.

Permissible operating temperature: -196 °C to +107 °C.

Inlet: 3/8" or 1/2" NPT, 1/2" BSPT.

Outlet: 3/8" or 1/2" NPT, 1/2" BSPT.

Pressure ranges: Spring A 0 to 2.4 bar, spring B 1.7 to 9.3 bar, spring C 6.9 to 16.2 bar.

Flow Data: Fail-open Cv 2.4 for 3/8" NPT and Cv 2.9 for 1/2" NPT/BSPT. Flow capacity is system-dependent; accurate data require review by Generant based on the specific system characteristics.

Available special versions / options: Oxygen service configuration with Monel inlet strainer; different port sizes; repair kits; spring kits.
