CRM - Cryogenic Regulator, Mini (Pressure Reducing)

Intended as a cryogenic pressure regulator for pressure-build applications on cryogenic liquid cylinders and similar systems. The regulator reduces inlet pressure to a defined outlet pressure and provides quick, positive shut-off at the set pressure.

Suitable for cryogenic applications and oxygen service, subject to proper design and media compatibility.

Maximum inlet pressure: 41.4 bar. Outlet pressure ranges: 1.0 to 4.5 bar, 3.4 to 12.1 bar, 10.3 to 24.1 bar and 20.7 to 36.2 bar.

Permissible operating temperature: -196 °C to +93 °C.

Function: Non-balanced, spring-referenced pressure reducing regulator for pressure-build applications on cryogenic liquid cylinders. Optimized spring and diaphragm design for high flow performance and low pressure drop.

Media: Suitable for cryogenic media and oxygen service, subject to proper design and media compatibility.

Testing / setting: Factory preset and 100 % tested. The setting is customer-specific within the selected spring range. Approximate setpoint change per full turn is 1.0, 1.7, 3.8 or 4.8 bar/turn depending on the spring range.

Oxygen service: Cleaned and packaged for oxygen service in accordance with CGA G-4.1 as standard.

Seals / materials: Body and pressure-containing brass components made from CDA 360 brass; phosphor bronze diaphragms; PTFE valve seal; Gylon chamber seal; silicone bottom plug seal.

Permissible operating temperature: -196 °C to +93 °C.

Inlet: 1/4" NPT.

Outlet: 1/4" NPT.

Pressure ranges: Spring A 1.0 to 4.5 bar, spring B 3.4 to 12.1 bar, spring C 10.3 to 24.1 bar, spring D 20.7 to 36.2 bar.

Flow Data: Full open flow coefficient Cv 0.51. For application-specific flow data, Generant refers to factory evaluation based on the actual pressure, media and system conditions.

Available special versions / options: Interchangeable spring kits for A, B and C ranges; D spring range with chamber ring; valve repair kit.
