Product overview: Cryogenic brass safety relief valve, 1/4", 3/8" and 1/2" NPT, set pressure range 0.7 to 51.7 bar, CE marking in accordance with PED 2014/68/EU Category IV, Modules B and D (standard), CRVP (0.69 to 24 bar) also available in accordance with R110 and TPED 2010/35/EU.

Function: Spring-loaded safety relief valve for overpressure protection in cryogenic systems. The Dirt Guard design helps protect the seating area from particulate contamination.

Media: Suitable for air gases, oxygen service and cryogenic liquefied gases subject to correct sizing and media compatibility.

Factory setting / testing: Factory preset, 100% tested for leakage, crack pressure and reseat performance; set pressure secured against adjustment. Field adjustment of the relief pressure is not intended.

Oxygen service: Cleaned and packaged for oxygen service as standard in accordance with CGA G-4.1.

Seals: Fluorosilicone for set pressures 0.7 to3.4 bar; PCTFE for set pressures 3.5 to 51.7 bar.

Permissible operating temperature: -196 °C to +176 °C, depending on seal material. Fluorosilicone: -65 °C to +176 °C; PCTFE: -196 °C to +74 °C.

Inlet: 1/4", 3/8" or 1/2" NPT male thread.

Outlet: Vent to atmosphere, deflector cap for directing exhausted gas, or pipe-away connection with 1/4", 3/8" or 1/2" NPT/BSPT female thread, depending on configuration.

Available special versions / options: Integral bleed valve version CRB for safe inlet-pressure venting; tamper-proof ring; pipe-away versions depending on configuration.
