Product overview: Forged needle valve with integral bonnet design, available in brass or 316 stainless steel, in straight or angle body configurations.

Function: Manual metering and throttling of media flows over a wide pressure range. Metal-to-metal stem is standard; a PCTFE soft tip is available as an option.

Media: Suitable for inert gases, oxygen, oxidizing gases > 21% and hydrogen with suitable seal and material selection.

Testing / setting: 100% factory tested for leakage. Maximum allowable internal and external leakage: 0.1 cc/min at 69 bar.

Oxygen service: Optionally cleaned and packaged for oxygen service in accordance with CGA G-4.1.

Seals / packing: PTFE and metallic wafer stem packing for low operating torque. Metal-to-metal stem as standard, optional PCTFE soft tip.

Allowable operating temperature: Metal-to-metal stem: -196 °C to +232 °C. PCTFE soft tip: -54 °C to +93 °C. At temperatures below -54 °C, the stem packing may become difficult to adjust.

Operating pressure: Brass up to 207 bar, stainless steel up to 345 bar at 38 °C, temperature dependent.

Connections: 1/8" to 3/8" NPT connections and 1/8" and 1/4" dual ferrule tube connections, depending on configuration.

Flow data: Orifice 0.17" / 4.32 mm, Cv 0.37.
