GEM - Combination Pressure Build - Economizer Regulator

Intended as a combination pressure-build and economizer regulator for cryogenic liquid cylinders. The regulator supports fast pressure building, steady head pressure and efficient economizer operation when cylinder pressure is near relief valve setting.

Suitable for cryogenic liquid cylinders and oxygen service, subject to proper design and media compatibility.

Maximum inlet pressure: 41.4 bar. Pressure ranges: 3.4 to 13.8 bar, 10.3 to 24.1 bar and 20.7 to 34.5 bar.

Permissible operating temperature: -196 °C to +65 °C.

Combination Pressure Build - Economizer (Pressure Build / Economizer), brass, 1/4" NPT, maximum inlet pressure 41.4 bar.

Function: Combines pressure-build and economizer functions in one regulator. Both functions are mechanically separated to avoid overlap and improve overall cylinder efficiency.

Media: Suitable for cryogenic liquid cylinders and oxygen service, subject to proper design and media compatibility.

Testing / setting: Factory preset and 100 % tested for leakage. Approximate setpoint change per full turn is 1.7, 2.4 or 3.8 bar/turn depending on the spring range. During bench setting, outlet and economizer ports must be connected to avoid internal regulator damage.

Oxygen service: Cleaned and packaged for oxygen service in accordance with CGA G-4.1 as standard.

Seals / materials: Brass body and brass components; phosphor bronze diaphragms; PTFE valve seal and stem diaphragms; Gylon chamber and bottom plug seals; stainless steel springs according to the data sheet.

Permissible operating temperature: -196 °C to +65 °C.

Inlet: 1/4" NPT.

Outlet: 1/4" NPT; ports marked IN, OUT and ECON depending on configuration.

Pressure ranges: Spring B 3.4 to 13.8 bar, spring C 10.3 to 24.1 bar, spring D 20.7 to 34.5 bar.

Flow Data: No single Cv value is specified in the reviewed data sheet. Generant describes the design as high-flow, reducing pressure-build time, improving steady-state pressure during high use and maximizing economizer flow. Application-specific flow sizing should be reviewed by the factory.
