HPCV - High Pressure Check Valve

Intended to prevent reverse flow in high-pressure and severe gas or liquid systems.

Suitable for inert gases, oxygen, oxidizer gases > 21 % and hydrogen subject to proper system design, cleaning and media compatibility.

Operating pressure: brass up to 345 bar, 316 stainless steel up to 413 bar, 17-4 PH stainless steel up to 690 bar. Nominal cracking pressure: 0.14 to 0.34 bar.

Allowable operating temperature: depending on seal material; depending on configuration up to -196 °C to +232 °C.

High pressure check valve with one-piece body, fully retained encapsulated O-ring and metal backup for demanding high-pressure applications.

Function: Check valve for reverse-flow prevention; increasing pressure increases sealing efficiency.

Media: Suitable for inert gases, oxygen, oxidizer gases > 21 % and hydrogen subject to proper system design and media compatibility.

Testing / setting: 100 % factory tested for leakage in the backflow direction. Nominal cracking pressure: 0.14 to 0.34 bar. Minimum burst pressure > 3 × operating pressure.

Oxygen service: Optionally cleaned and packaged for oxygen service in accordance with CGA G-4.1.

Seals: Encapsulated seal with metal backup; seal material depending on configuration and medium.

Allowable operating temperature: Depending on seal material; depending on configuration up to -196 °C to +232 °C.

Connections: 1/4", 3/8" and 1/2"; NPT, SAE, BSPT or BSPP depending on configuration.

Flow direction: Install with the arrow pointing in the free-flow direction.
