HPRV - High Pressure Relief Valve

Intended for pressure relief of high-pressure systems against excessive pressure.

Suitable for most liquid and gas applications subject to correct sizing, seal selection and media compatibility.

Set pressure range: 0.7 to 166 bar.

Permissible operating temperature: -220 °C to +204 °C, depending on seal material.

Product overview: High-pressure relief valve in brass, 303 stainless steel or 316 stainless steel, 1/8" to 3/4" NPT, set pressure range 0.7 to 166 bar, according to Category I, Module A (standard).

Function: Spring-loaded high-pressure relief valve with encapsulated O-ring seal to prevent extrusion and cold flow. The guided poppet design and metal-to-metal stop protect the seal at high crack pressure settings.

Media: Suitable for most liquid and gas applications subject to correct sizing, seal selection and media compatibility.

Factory setting / testing: Factory preset and 100% tested; set pressure secured against inadvertent adjustment. Testing includes leakage, set pressure, flow and reseat performance.

Oxygen service: Optionally cleaned and packaged for oxygen service in accordance with CGA G-4.1.

Seals: Viton, Buna-N, neoprene, EPDM, silicone or PTFE depending on media, pressure and temperature.

Permissible operating temperature: -220 °C to +204 °C, depending on seal material.

Inlet: 1/8", 1/4", 3/8", 1/2" or 3/4" NPT; SAE and JIC porting on request depending on version.

Outlet: HPRV inline version, HPRVA discharge to atmosphere or HPRVM discharge to atmosphere with manual pull ring override, depending on configuration.
