IBV - Instrument Ball Valve

Intended as a high-pressure shut-off valve for instrumentation, test stand, gas delivery and control-panel applications requiring high flow and low pressure drop.

Suitable for compatible gases and fluids subject to proper system design, material compatibility and seal selection.

Operating pressure: up to 413 bar at 38 °C; reduced ratings may apply depending on code and application.

Allowable operating temperature: -54 °C to +93 °C.

High-pressure 316 stainless steel instrument ball valve, operating pressure up to 413 bar, with NPT, O-ring face seal or dual ferrule tube connections.

Function: 1/4-turn ball valve for reliable ON/OFF shut-off. Micro-finished floating ball design provides a positive seal in both directions.

Media: Suitable for compatible gases and fluids subject to proper system design, material compatibility and seal selection.

Testing / setting: 100 % factory tested for leakage; leakage specified as < 0.1 SCCM at 145 bar.

Seals: PCTFE ball seat, PTFE packing and O-rings; face seal O-rings standard FKM, option H with HNBR for natural gas service.

Operating pressure: up to 413 bar at 38 °C; 328 bar per NFPA 52 and 303 bar per ASME B31.3 depending on design basis and application.

Allowable operating temperature: -54 °C to +93 °C. For sustained use above 38 °C, pressure rating may be affected.

Connections: 1/4" to 3/4" NPT, 1/4" to 3/4" dual ferrule tube connection and O-ring face seal connection depending on configuration.

Operation / installation: 1/4-turn lever operation; handle orientation indicates flow position. All configurations can be panel mounted.

Technical features: Straight-through flow path, large orifices for high flow efficiency and low pressure drop, adjustable stem packing for in-line maintenance.

Available special versions / options:
