LCV - Liquide Cylinder Valve

Intended exclusively for pressure control and overpressure protection of portable DOT 4L cryogenic liquid cylinders up to 450 liters.

Suitable for inert gases, oxygen and oxidizer gases > 21% at a maximum operating pressure below 34.48 bar, subject to correct sizing and media compatibility.

Set pressure range: 1.5 to 34.5 bar.

Permissible operating temperature: -196 °C to +176 °C, depending on seal material.

Product overview: Pressure control and safety relief valve for DOT 4L cryogenic liquid cylinders, 1/4" NPT, set pressure range 1.5 to 34.5 bar, Pi marking in accordance with TPED 2010/35/EU.

Function: Direct-acting, spring-loaded, factory preset relief valve for portable cryogenic liquid cylinders. The LCV reduces discharge noise and vents only what is required to maintain cylinder pressure in a tight band.

Media: Suitable for inert gases, oxygen and oxidizer gases > 21% at a maximum operating pressure below 34.48 bar, subject to correct sizing and media compatibility.

Factory setting / testing: Factory preset and 100% tested. Tolerance: set pressure ≥ 5.0 bar ±3%; set pressure < 5.0 bar ±0.15 bar. Zero leakage to 95% of set pressure; reseat at 90% of set pressure.

Oxygen service: Cleaned and packaged for oxygen service in accordance with CGA G-4.1.

Seals: PCTFE or fluorosilicone, depending on set pressure and operating temperature.

Permissible operating temperature: -196 °C to +176 °C, depending on seal material.

Inlet: 1/4" NPT male thread.

Outlet: Vent to atmosphere via the LCV version with Dirt Guard poppet.
