calcPageSize())" loading="lazy" />The product shown in the picture may differ from the product sold.
Field of application
Designed for automated, pneumatically actuated shut-off and flow control of high-pressure gases in systems operating at elevated pressures.
Suitable for automated gas cylinder fill plants, manifolds and piping systems as well as applications with inert gases, oxygen, oxidizer gases > 21 %, hydrogen and carbon dioxide, subject to proper system design and media compatibility.
Operating pressure range: vacuum to 380 bar at 70 °F / approx. 21 °C. Versions with NPSM connections are de-rated to 242 bar due to the connection rating.
Actuation pressure: 5.86 to 8.62 bar. The actuation port must not be pressurized above 8.62 bar.
Allowable operating temperature: -40 °C to +74 °C.
Flow coefficient: Cv 2.5 for all valve configurations.
Description
Pneumatically actuated high pressure gas control valve for automated gas cylinder fill plants, manifolds and piping systems, operating pressure range vacuum to 380 bar at 70 °F / approx. 21 °C.
Function: Pneumatically actuated high pressure gas control valve for automated control and shut-off of gas flow. Available as Normally Open (NO) or Normally Closed (NC). The valve geometry allows metering on initial opening and helps minimize initial pressure surges.
Media: Suitable for inert gases, oxygen, oxidizer gases > 21 %, hydrogen and carbon dioxide, subject to proper system design, seal selection and media compatibility.
Testing: 100 % factory tested for internal and external leakage.
Oxygen service: For Material Code C with copper seal: Cleaned and packaged for oxygen service in accordance with CGA G-4.1 as standard. The high pressure oxygen service configuration was third-party tested in accordance with ISO 7291 (O2 Surge) and ASTM G175 (Promoted Ignition). Material Code K with PCTFE seal is not recommended for oxygen service.
Seals / seat options: Material Code C with copper seal for oxygen service; Material Code K with PCTFE seal for positive sealing in non-oxygen applications.
Allowable operating temperature: -40 °C to +74 °C.
Operating pressure: Vacuum to 380 bar at 70 °F / approx. 21 °C. Versions with NPSM connections are de-rated to 242 bar.
Actuation: Actuation pressure 5.86 to 8.62 bar. The 1/4" NPT actuation port must not be pressurized above 8.62 bar.
Connections: NPT female ports, NPSM male right-hand / left-hand ports or O-ring seal union connection depending on configuration.
Flow: Cv 2.5 for all valve configurations.
Available special versions / options:
· Normally Open (NO)
· Normally Closed (NC)
· various port and connection configurations
