OFS - O'Ring Face Seal Fittings

Intended as a leak-tight face seal connection for gas fill plants, high-pressure manifolds and piping systems requiring repeated removal and replacement of components.

Suitable for high-pressure gas applications, oxygen service and manifold systems when properly selected for pressure, media compatibility and seal material.

Operating pressure range: vacuum to 413.7 bar at +38 °C.

Allowable operating temperature: -54 °C to +190 °C, depending on seal material.

O'Ring face seal fitting made of high-strength naval brass for gas fill plants and high-pressure manifolds up to 413.7 bar.

Function: The OFS fitting provides a leak-tight face seal connection using an o-ring seal. The zero-clearance design allows easy removal and replacement of system components without disassembling other line connections.

Application: For gas fill plants, high-pressure manifolds, piping systems and repeatedly removable face seal connections. Compatible with other o-ring face seal type fittings and with MV Series valves using -2FS connections.

Oxygen service: Cleaned and packaged for oxygen service in accordance with CGA G-4.1 as standard.

Materials: All fittings constructed of half-hard naval brass ASTM B21; other materials available, consult factory.

Seals: EPDM, Viton, Buna-N or Neoprene. Buna-N is not recommended for oxygen service. Other seal materials available, consult factory.

Allowable operating temperature: EPDM: -54 °C to +148 °C; Viton: -23 °C to +190 °C; Buna-N: -40 °C to +121 °C; Neoprene: -40 °C to +148 °C.

Operating pressure: Vacuum to 413.7 bar at +38 °C.

Leakage: < 0.01 SCCM helium at 413.7 bar.

Connections: -2 and -3 face seal connections, 1/2" NPT and pipe connections, bulkhead versions and nuts depending on the selected configuration.
