PMV - Precision Metering Valve

Intended as a precision metering valve for accurate and repeatable flow control of liquids and gases.

Suitable for inert gases, oxygen, oxidizing gases > 21% and hydrogen with appropriate seal selection and media compatibility.

Operating pressure: vacuum to 68.9 bar at 38 °C.

Allowable operating temperature: -46 °C to +82 °C, seal dependent.

Product overview: Precision metering valve in brass or stainless steel with a one-piece forged body and screwed bonnet design.

Function: Accurate and repeatable flow control of liquids and gases. A 3° stainless steel tapered stem seals bubble-tight into an Acetal soft seat; panel mounting and lockable adjustment are standard.

Media: Suitable for liquids and gases and, according to the User Instructions, for inert gases, oxygen, oxidizing gases > 21% and hydrogen with suitable seal and material selection.

Testing / setting: 100% factory tested for leakage. Factory preset for zero flow at positive stop with 10.34 bar.

Oxygen service: Optionally cleaned and packaged for oxygen service in accordance with CGA G-4.1.

Seals / seat: 3° stainless steel tapered stem with Acetal soft seat; O-rings depending on configuration in Buna-N, neoprene, ethylene propylene or FKM.

Allowable operating temperature: -46 °C to +82 °C, seal dependent.

Operating pressure: Vacuum to 68.9 bar at 38 °C.

Connections: 1/8" and 1/4" NPT and 1/8" and 1/4" dual ferrule tube connections, depending on configuration.

Flow data: Cv 0.04, orifice 0.055" / 1.4 mm, stem pitch 40 threads per inch.
