Changeover Valves

Changeover valves, like Divertor or Plug divertor valves, are used on stationary storage tanks for the installation of at least 2 main safety valves and/or bursting discs. An outlet is switched off here by a rising spindle using a handwheel. This means that the installed safety valves can be maintained while the pressurized container is in operation.  A Changeover valve is usually used where pressure punches are to be avoided by switching (e.g. oxygen).
